Welcome to MusicMasters! We've been serving Austin's most discerning musicians quality piano lessons, pre-owned pianos, and piano tuning service since 1989.

Our pianos and their piano tuner are featured in Austin and San Marcos concerts and recordings produced by Texas State University, Paramount Theater, Round Rock ISD Performing Arts Center, Austin Civic Orchestra, The Cactus Cafe, and Bismeaux Studio.

Our pre-owned pianos are individually selected and optimized by Brian Henselman, RPT (Registered Piano Technician, member PTG). These quality used pianos typically include a complete action regulation, custom voicing, matching bench, normal local delivery, an aural on-site A-440 tuning, and a one-year warranty.

Private Piano Lessons are taught by both Brian Henselman, BM, RPT, and Jeannie DeArmond-Henselman, BM, JD (Doctorate of Juris Prudence). Each piano teacher offers traditional classical private one-on-one piano instruction. Our combined specializations include Music Theory, Organ and Sacred Christian Music, Piano Ensemble, Piano Duos and Duets, Chamber Music, and Piano Concertos.

Both piano instructors are members of ADMTA (Austin District Music Teachers Association), SA (Student Affiliate), TMTA (Texas Music Teachers Association), MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and/or the American College of Musicians, Guild of Piano Teachers. Their membership in these organizations offers students numerous opportunities to excel through participation in Theory Examinations, Festivals, Recitals, Competitions, Conventions, and Auditions.

Our teaching facilities, located in the Covered Bridge Subdivision of Oak Hill, are truly exceptional. All piano lessons are taught in an acoustically optimized studio using a concert quality 7 foot Model B Steinway Grand Piano, and 7',6" C7 Yamaha Grand Piano. Lessons are professionally recorded directly to compact disk and all recitals are video archived directly to DVD.
