Kawai KG-6C: 7',4" Semi-Concert Grand Piano
Serial # 1001604 c.1978

Kawai concert grands are unique and highly treasured hand-built pianos found in concert halls and recording studios throughout the music industry. Our Kawai KG-6C Semi-Concert Grand comes from this distinguished lineage.

This is no ordinary piano. It is the personal recording studio instrument of Austin's own 9-time Grammy winning artist Larry Seyer. It was used as his primary acoustic recording piano at Electric LarryLand for the last 15 years.

This KG-6C is a magnificent piano that many professional artists have expressed envy while playing. This led to its being chosen in 2001 to be the piano sampled (recorded) to create the award winning GigaStudio V2.x piano, samples of which are still being used in countless film scores along with contemporary music recordings you hear today.

Artists who have recorded the CD's using this piano include Alla, Chris Gage, Cynthia Clawson, David Wilcock, Don Walser, Floyd Domino, Gary Powell, Gene Elders, Harry Lynch, Jeff Helmer, Jess DeMaine, Jonathan David Brown, Karla Taylor, Pam Hart, Rachael Loy, Rich Harney, Rita Jones, and the Wild Basin Winds

This piano has been well maintained. Unlike most commercial instruments, this pianos' original ebony polish finish is in exellent condition and makes a beautiful showpiece for a formal living room, church sanctuary, or recital hall.

This piano includes a matching adjustable artist bench, local Austin delivery, on-site concert tuning and custom voicing, and a 5-year MusicMasters Piano Service parts and labor warranty. Stairs, Out-of-Town Delivery, and Credit Cards extra.
