As you can see we are the proud parents of six. However, in addition to teaching our own children to be award winning artists, we have taught hundreds of Austin's most talented piano students since 1989. Brian Henselman, BM, RPT, graduated from the University of Louisville School of Music in 1989 with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Applied Piano Performance. He subsequently became an RPT (Registered Piano Technician) in 1992 and is an avid concert piano technician. Having studied Piano Pedagogy while majoring in Applied Piano Performance, Brian teaches most of our younger piano students. He specializes in introducing students to the world of music. His pupils not only learn to perform well in public, but love their music too. Brian is our in-house web-designer for MusicMasters Piano Service and WeLoveOils.net. When he's not busy being our computer/piano/audio/visual technician, Brian also enjoys conducting. He has directed ADMTA Piano Ensemble teams numerous times at TMTA conventions, once while wearing a cow costume! Jeannie Henselman, BM, JD, and stay-at-home mother of our six children, attended the University of Louisville School of Music. In 1989, Mrs. Henselman graduated first in her class with her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Piano Performance. Jeannie then attended the University of Texas School of Law and graduated in 1992, with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence. Having been a child prodigy and competitive pianist, Mrs. Henselman teaches our older students and works with those students who wish to compete. A consummate pianist, Jeannie's strict but loving approach to lessons emphasizes advanced performance skills and is best suited for ambitious independent musicians. Jeannie recently retired as Organist at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Lakeway, and now runs the business side of MusicMasters Piano Service. She handles all lesson scheduling, is our in-house concerto accompanist, and teaches our group theory classes where she is affectionately known as the "Theory Goddess".
