Steinway's Model B is their most highly sought professional grade grand piano for home use. Our Model B pictured below is one of Steinway's finest vintage. It has been beautifully refinished, tuned, regulated, and voiced for optimal performance.
This piano not looks great, it plays beautifully. We use it regularly to record in our studio. It has a newly rebuilt action with original mint condition genuine ivory keys. This vintage piano features a medium touch with a tone that is rich and smooth throughout all registers. The treble has an especially lovely "bell" tone while the bass is full but clear.
This piano was refinished a few years ago with a hand rubbed satin mahagony finish that is in very good condition. The beautiful ribbon mahagony cabinet is rare as Steinway no longer produces pianos with this gorgeous veneer. It even includes the original matching bench.
